Job OpportunitiesWe're always looking for solid, experienced FileMaker Pro and web developers who know database systems for contract work possibly leading to a full-time positions. The Position: Application DeveloperWe're looking for someone who understands multi-table databases, has built complex systems, has worked with FileMaker Server, and is familiar with the challenges of deploying a system across a network. You'll need to be adept with FileMaker – please don't wrongly assume that you can "pick-up" the skills here – we have fast-moving development teams and we'll need you to be really comfortable in FileMaker right from day one. You'll also need to understand how the web works as well – HTML and some middleware, preferably PHP and/or Lasso. If you're not a rock-star with web technologies, that's okay. We'll likely look for opportunities to teach you web applications in the future. It's important to us that you mesh with our culture and that you like working with us as well. We're careful when we add people to our staff and have had relatively low turn-over in our firm. (We've never had lay-offs.) To that end, we'll often opt to test people on a contract basis. Be prepared for a somewhat drawn-out application process. Salary/hourly rate is variable based on experience; this position initially doesn't include project management. We may opt to work with you remotely as a contractor, but ultimately this position requires that you be willing to relocate to within commuting distance of one of our offices.
